Dr. Michael Melek
While working alongside his family, Dr. Michael Melek’s passion is prioritizing and providing the highest quality in dental care for our Santa Cruz community. Graduating from University of Michigan, with top honors, and the Crown and Bridge award, he continued on to master Implantology and Orthodontics.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, & the American Orthodontic Society. Dr. Melek is excited about being in a community that encourages health and wellness! As a man of the outdoors, Dr. Melek enjoys hiking our amazing Monterey Bay & the warmth of the people here in our community. Santa Cruz has become his home, a paradise to embrace, and to serve.

Dr. Connor Malek
Dr. Connor Malek attended the University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of dentistry graduated with high honors, awards in Operative Dentistry, and advanced training in Oral Surgery. As a third generation dentist, Dr. Connor has been surrounded by dentistry his whole life, resulting in extraordinary skills and understanding of the field.
He has experience in all aspects of dentistry including state of the art cosmetics and restorations. Dr. Connor loves working with his patients. His kind, gentle demeanor towards every patient leaves them happier and healthier than when they walk in the door. He is here to treat you like family.

Dr. Tod Anderson has joined the iSmileSpa team! After 17 years as a practicing dentist, Dr. Tod has seen firsthand how the traditional dental industry often overlooks what truly matters: the needs and well-being of patients. That’s why he created Curated Dental—a service dedicated to breaking away from the older dental industry and focusing on what’s truly best for you and your family.
As a father and a dentist, he makes it his goal to avoid all generic, chemically laden dental products found in stores. Dr. Tod delivers quality dental restorations and aims in achieving his patients optimal oral health, naturally and affordably.

Dr. Sydney Washington
Originally from Iowa, Dr. Sydney Washington couldn’t be more excited to call Monterey Bay home! Dentistry is her passion and her purpose, she thrives on helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for every time they smile.
A proud graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she received the Ostrus Scholarship Award in Prosthodontics, Dr. Washington brings both skill and heart to her work. We’re absolutely ecstatic to have her as part of our team!
When she’s not perfecting smiles, you can find her exploring local beaches, and hiking coastal trails, Dr. Sydney is thrilled to bring her Midwestern warmth and gentle touch to the Monterey community!

Dr. Amber Lombard
Say hello to Dr. Amber Lombard. After earning her dental degree from Boston University, she has moved west to chase waves and share smiles. She’s passionate about making dental visits relaxed, personal, and built around real connection.
When she’s not in the operatory, you’ll find her out on the surf, hiking the redwoods, or soaking in the California sunshine. She’s all about laughter, lifelong learning, and helping every patient love their smile.
